About the Site

This website was first started well before it was published, 2022 I think. Even earlier, Aelloblu had convinced Junoh and I to work on a website for Junoh's Edionan Headcanon. Blu had created the site template and some of the assets (header image and BG) and handed it over, and I got really into it. Aelloblu often mentioned how she wants to see more fan senshi website out there, and high off of all my work on the Edionan Blossoms site, I wanted to help contribute to that goal. So I started the Fortune's Favour site, made some assets with Adobe Illustrator (which I had access to through uni and had been playing around with a bit), and set up the basic visuals of the site. And then I didn't know what to do for it so I left it abandoned for about a year.

Eventually we get talking about websites on the Fan Senshi Alliance server again and I start getting hyped about them, and on another server I see someone advertising logo commissions and I think "Fuck it, why not?" and get the lovely new Fortune's Favour logo out of it. The logo got me really inspired and suddenly the ball was rolling again. I'm concentrating on Fortuna a lot, I upload some art, pretty up the front page more, and start making actual content. All in September 2023 , and once I make my affiliates button I publish the site! From then on I start working on it here and there, adding more and more. The key part of the site - the character profiles - are still missing, as is art I have made myself (outside of the Archives), but the site looks good and there's still a decent amount of content.

So that's the history of this website as of October 2023, but there's plenty more planned, and I hope you like it.

It's now August of 2024 and I've done lot more work on the website, on and off with bursts of activity and inspiration. Fortuna's profile now has some proper content, though it's still lacking the Backstory section and some small bits of senshi information, and Felix hasn't had his started properly yet. I've filled in the "My Art" gallery though, and added a Fanart Submissions form after discovering Wix's new Input options. The Links page has also been cleaned up and filled out more, with some actual information on my affiliates, and I've even started writing Fortuna's fanafic, though it is slow going. Overall, I think things have been coming along nicely, and while it is slow, at least it's moving!
